A little Change

Quite a bit of change has been happening at the Glover house. Back on September 16th Megan decided to move in, she has pretty good reason's, so of course we were very welcomed to the idea. She's been adjusting really well with all of her four other siblings and having different rules & chores. She's an Awesome Young Lady and has a pretty good head on her shoulders. We are so proud of her and how far she has come. She is preparing for College and wanting to plan on what kind of job she'd like to have as an adult. She had to switch from a car to now driving a Big Red-Neck pickup truck, it's blue so that helped and her Dad has some beads hanging around the mirror so to her that made it a little Girly Girl. She's going to take her SAT's this Saturday and then week after next she gets to go visit IU and shadow one of the students there to see what college life is like, she'll even get to spend the night! She's so excited, she's interested in Anthropology (right now).
We're trying to encourage her that no matter who's in her life - whether it be family, friends, co-workers, a boyfriend to make sure she keeps her boundaries in line, not to let anyone try to manipulate her into anything. I pray that God will lead her where ever he has plans for her.
Also, my middle daughter turned 13 today! Wow, I now have THREE teenagers in the house, only two left to go!

Wind Storm of 2008

Well we officially survived the Wind Storm of 2008, it was Amazing to see some of the mind blowing things that the wind could do, this is a picture of a GREAT BIG Pine Tree in my Father-in-laws yard, it was totally uprooted.
Here is Everybody (during some of the Wind Storm) picking up all the Apples that we couldn't reach before the Storm, we were trying to be careful not to get hit with and apple that the wind would knock out of the tree.
Here's our drive as we leaving, before 10am a Big Tree was blown over and Frank & Papa had to cut it & move it so I could go to work the nursery at (Maria's church) church. We were about 30 minutes late, but had we left any earlier it could have fallen on us!
We actually watched this break and fall off. It was crazy to see all the branches breaking like toothpicks!
Hope all of you are ok and haven't had alot of damage, we were without power from Sunday around 12:30 pm to Monday at about 6pm.
Take Care,
Shannon
