Poor Victoria

The other day Victoria was complaining that her hands & feet were itchy, I looked and thought it could be poison ivy, so I put some calamine lotion on them. Well the next day they were swollen and still bothering her I then gave her a benadryl & put more lotion on them. Well she gets home from school today and she looks like she's got chicken pox, so I look on the Internet, call my husband and was trying to decide whether or not to try to go to my meeting for cheer leading, I figured that wouldn't be happening, so I ended taking her to the Urgent Health, they looked at her and said it wasn't chicken pox it was a viral illness, so they gave her some steroid antibiotic, poor thing you can see her in the pictures (probably can't get the full effect) they said it's contagious and she can't go to school tomorrow, but should be fine for church Saturday.

What a interesting day.

Have a good weekend, hopefully none of the other kids or me or Frank will catch this.

The Car....

Well, I thought I'd share with you guys what all has happened with me driving my husbands 1987 BMW. I had to start driving it because of the HIGH gas prices, but it helps and the kids school & my work isn't very far away. I began driving it, apparently the teen who had it before we bought it thought it would be cool to make it REALLY REALLY low to the ground, let me just say when you hit 35 and add FOUR kids to it, it because a quick pain. We already drag the ground with only two in it but then you add four kids & their back packs and it DEFINETLY drags the ground. The other day (also, the day we were having a few girls over for Sophia's 11th Birthday) I was coming in to drop off the first round of kids and on our drive we have some pot holes and some rocks, well I dodged the pot holes and usually I do alright to dodge the rocks, well this perticular day I hit the rock and it made a loud awful noise, we got to the house and I pulled up to let all the kids & their back packs out and Frank noticed the car was leaking something (unfortunately I pulled up on the concrete in front of the drive & behind my van) I got out and looked and sure enough it was leaking OIL! I called my dad and he said I might have cracked the oil pan, sure enough It leaked a GREAT Big Puddle under the car, I had to run to town and get oil dry stuff ( I drove the truck since I blocked in the van) as soon as I got the oil dry stuff I had to go straight to school to get Isabella from Cheer leading try outs. Also, did I mention I had girls coming over, finally I got home poured the stuff on the drive and welcomed the company, and it cost about $372 and some change to replace the oil pan and put more oil in it, Lucky it didn't ruin the engine.

Did I mention I don't care for this car much at all and my husband loves it but Ford won't let him drive anything but a Ford, unless he wants to walk 2 miles into work!

YeeHaw!

Everyday Life

Well, we're doing pretty much the same thing every week right now, I get up, get the kids to school, come home (unless it's monday or tuesday, then I go to my grandma's houses to visit & help them a little), then I have to get to work anywhere from 10am to 10:45am (depends on how many ladies are working in the school cafeteria). Then I leave work about 2 - 2:15pm get home where I get to be for about 15 minutes then I leave to pick up the kids, then monday - friday Isabella has track practice, unless she has a meet, and on tuesday & thursday sophia has drama practice, so on monday's we hang out @ the library, tuesday we go home till I have to be back there @ 5pm, on friday's I run my errands as quick as possible so I can get home to unload my groceries and be at work in time then after I pick up the kids we go check out movies from the library for the weekend. So, like I said It's just Everyday life. Im so glad I didn't start working till my youngest was 7.
Also, if any of you ladies who are reading this are interested, Im having an Arbonne Party (hopefully Thursday May 15th), Im very interested in it because they have a new line of products that help you balance out your hormones. Prom

Well this weekend Megan went to her first Prom. Wow! She was gorgeous! I did her hair so I think she looked Especially Gorgeous! She went with her first boyfriend, I think they went from pictures (my sister-in-law took them) to eat at a restaurant with a room reserved for a total of 18 of their friends. She unfortunately wasn't able to go to the after prom due to her other mom & dad not trusting her enough. I have to say, she's an awesome teenager and has so far proven to be trustworthy with school & her job and so far being able to handle having a boyfriend. Please pray for and the stresses from teenage things and also family conflicts.
