Big 16!

16 years ago I gave birth to my 1st child, Frank Allen Glover III, he was 8lbs 50z, he was Huge! In my opinion, but I was very young, I was only 20, and married almost a year & a half. He was a very cuddly baby, he loved to snuggle & be affectionate. He's turned out to be a really good kid, I can't complain, our only problems were that he could argue quite well & just refused to back down
This picture is funny, he lost his wallet with his permit in it & he can't remember where he might have lost it, so Memaw bought him a wallet with a chain on it in hopes that would help him keep up with it? We'll see.....

This is a lighter that belongs to his dad (from his birthday), I thought it'd be funny to let him light the candles on his cake with it.

Here's all the kids at his 16th Birthday party, I'll try to name them from left to right Sophia (sister), Zack, Devin (headshot) Hannah, Victoria (sister), BIRTHDAY BOY, Kyle, Michael, Chad & Jeffery. We had a blast, they played video games on 2 different tv's & then ping pong (until Megan's boyfriend Tim squashed the ball, he was trying to bounce it with his foot & smooshed it!)

Another shot of the group today. The whole family got to enjoy hanging with his friends & the kids had so much fun all but 3 in the picture are here right now having one of their newly planned "Game Nights", I told him he could possibly do this every month, but Im thinking every other is plenty.

Holidays.....

Christmas @ Jamie's, Frank's dad Papa received this sign that my brother-in-law Mark made for him.
Here's Tyson (JT & Kristen's baby) & Elizabeth, They were posing for pics, too cute!

Here's the kids this past Christmas at mom's, their getting so big.

Megan & Isabella's (Cheesing it up!)

Here's Christmas morning, Megan will probably kill me for posting this, but she know that we video & take pics EVERY single year on Christmas, she chose to come down as is....

Finally......

What have I been up to since before Christmas......

We've been checking out Craigslist lately, and found several things (couple dresser's for the girls & a Great Dane 6 month old puppy), either really cheap or one was free.
This picture above is Apollo, he is 6 months old, Frank texted me before work one morning & said there was a "Free" Great Dane puppy, so we texted back & forth, then I contacted the # that they gave & since I was the 1st to contact them, we were the first one's to get him, if we weren't gonna pick him up that day then they would let the next in line get him. I went over as soon as I got off work & picked him up, he was under fed & very thin. We took him home & every time I filled the food bowl up he emptied it, he's just now a few months later starting to realize that there will be food, but he still is very Greedy when it comes to leftovers (Poor Claire, she has to fight for her some), he's a good dog, hasn't been trained so he needs lots of patience. We just recently bought another collar so that he can be contained to yard (little less the 3 achers) and we won't have to worry about him running off.

I'll have to get a current picture & put it at the bottom of this posting so you can see that his head is 2-3 times larger. He's going to be Ginormous!!

Here's another find on Craigslist, we found the light color dresser (two pics below)for Megan for $25, so me & my friend Peggy went & picked it up. Then I went looking that night on Craigslist & we found this one above & below for Isabella, I think I only paid $70 for both (we talked her down a bit, there was some rough area's), but they looked so unique. The door in the middle opens & there are 3 smaller drawers inside.

This piece is really Cool! The doors open & there are 3 drawers inside, so it holds many items.

This one's the one I only paid $25 for, it still in good shape, since Megan moved back in back in Oct/Nov we've rearranged the playroom into her room, we bought a really heavy duty long pole to hang up along part of the wall & make a large hanging area for her clothes, she now has the dresser & a little secretary from her other mom's house & a book shelf, if she would go get her queen bed @ her other mom's she wouldn't have to sleep on the Trundle (which is practically on the floor), but we'll let her get tired of sleeping on that. We've went as far (to get order & keep ALL the kids taking care of their own stuff they dirty up & use) as to mark plates, cups, silverware, counter area's & even chairs @ the breakfast table. I wouldn't have resorted to this had the kids just cleaned up after themselves, but they always said "That's not mine" or "I don't know who's that is". So now if it has their initial then "DUH". Five kids makes you a teensy weensy CRAZY!!

SOLD!!

Well after we parked the van this past Monday (5 days ago), we have officially sold it, we asked $4000 for it and we sold it for $3500. Im so glad, it was a nice van, now Im looking for a 4x4 to get me through the winter, plus my kiddo's are much LARGER so they don't fit as well, plus I don't enjoy the snow & flooding out here on the farm.
Please pray for me that we will find something that is reliable, good on miles & at a price we can pay cash for.

2000 Ford Windstar SEL

We are finally at the point where we need to sell our van, with living on the Farm we need a 4x4 vehicle, I don't enjoy the snow or even lots of rain when it comes to our LONG driveway. It has been a Great Carpool Van over the past 5 years.

About our van
It's a Ford Silver 2000 Windstar SEL
173,000 miles, leather quad seats (plus a cloth bench that will fit in place of the two middle chairs, to enable it to seat 8), Power windows, Power mirrors, Power Seat, cruise control, traction control, backup sensor, luggage rack, cd player, built in VCR console, also had a DVD player installed, two automatic sliding doors, 4 tires were bought just this past summer (still under warranty @ Big O Tires), new rear brakes about a month ago, Information center on dash- tells how how long till needing oil change, miles to empty, outside temp, driving lights, etc.
Nice van, runs good, just needing to get something that can handle the weather here on the Farm. We're asking $4000 I'll put some pictures up soon.

Open House

Wanted invite Everyone to an Open House here from 2-4pm on Sunday September 13th.
I will have product out to show & have some demonstrations. I got into to Norwex because the products they sell help me to save money from having to buy cleaners with chemicals to clean my house, plus I can clean my house in 1/2 the time with these products, there micro-fiber cloths are antibacterial and have silver woven into the (which will not was out) and silver is the know antidote for food poisoning and even used in bandages for burn patients. These cloths help to keep the cross contamination down from your counters or even your hands. They have mops that do the same thing, and they swivel like Swifter sweepers and are very lightweight, the microfiber cloths have a 2 yr warranty and are expected to last more then 5-7 years.
I hope you'll stop by to see some demonstrations on how & why these cloths work so well.

you can go to www.norwex.com to check out some of the products

Where to begin

Well, it's been a month since I last posted.
Well Summer has been busy, I just haven't accomplished everything I wanted to. The kids have had activities, with tumbling every Monday for Isabella & tennis every Tue & Thur, finally done with that on July 23rd, also have been going to the Free movies once a week and we had a yard sale at a Sweet friend of mines house a few weeks ago, made some money to go to the Fair and eat some yummy fair food, and spent some on some Party lite stuff. Ive been slacking terribly with the garden, Ive had to actually get out the weed eater, some of it was because of all the rain & the fact that Im not that good at getting out to the garden in the mornings (okay, some of it is my addiction to email & facebook). Ive have also signed to be a Norwex Consultant, I went to a party back in May, and just loved the products, there mission is to radically reduce the use of chemicals in our homes. You can use these products to clean your home with Water so it cuts down on the cost & on the time it takes to clean and it is much safer. So I have begun to kick start that business just mainly to spread the word & maybe get some more products AND maybe a little income, depending how well it goes.
My Sister-in-law was diagnosed with Breast cancer at the beginning of summer, so that is a LARGE part of why Im changing our lifestyle, we have to educate our selves what we're doin and what is some of the modern conveniences that is raising our risk of cancer & disease.
